The ease of use provided by the non-restrictive mounting requirements is also a plus (e.g., attach it to a backpack). However, after buying two of them, one fell off and was lost, the other fell off and was broken, I have switched to another omron that can be better attached. It is inexpensive insurance to prevent your Fitbit from unknowingly falling off. The clip is so flimsy it comes off at the slightest touch. This is on a device that is used to measure exercise levels and distances.
